William J. McLellan, 50, of Whitman, died unexpectedly on Friday June 21st at home. He was the son of Rita (Dalton) McLellan and the late John V. McLellan.

He has been a resident of Whitman since 1972.

In addition to his mother Rita, he is survived by his loving daughter, Molly McLellan of Taunton, His brother Thomas M. McLellan and his wife Jacqueline of Taunton, his sisters Deborah McLellan and her fiancé Richard McKeague of Rockland and Theresa Morse and her husband Roy of Wareham; also 3 nieces and 2 nephews. He was also the brother of the late Robert and John McLellan.

His services will be held on June 25th at 7:00PM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth St.(Rte 58 @ the rotary circle) Whitman. Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the service from 5:00-7:00PM Burial will be private. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Charity of One’s Choice.

Andrew Ralph Robinson, 55, of Whitman, died June 22nd peacefully at home.

He was born in Weymouth and raised in Whitman, son of Lincoln and Winnifred (Higgins) Robinson. Andrew was a graduate of Whitman- Hanson High School, class of 1976 and Wentworth Institute on the dean’s list in 1979.

Andrew loved to ski and ride his bike. He was a quiet and peaceful man and will be sadly missed.

In addition to his loving parents, he is survived by his beloved sister Wendy Wrin of Whitman; also many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

His services will be held on Friday June 28th at 11:00AM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth St.(Rte 58 @ the rotary circle) Whitman, MA. Burial will follow in the Colebrook Cemetery, Whitman. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service from 10:00-11:00AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Whitman Congregational Church, 519 Washington St. Whitman, MA.02382.

James F. “Jim” Forlizzi, 45, of Whitman, passed away on Wednesday July 3rd surrounded by his family and friends, in the McCarthy Care Center in Sandwich, after a courageous battle with cancer.

He was born in Boston, son of Christine (Hughes) Ruley and the late Joseph F. Forlizzi.

Jim has been a longtime resident of Whitman, a graduate of Whitman-Hanson Regional High School, class of 1986.

He was very involved in the WBSA in Whitman. Jim coached softball for many years, enjoying every game.

Jim was a dedicated and loving father to his three children. He enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is survived by his mother Christine Ruley of Whitman, his loving children, Alyssa, Ashlee and Cody Forlizzi all of Whitman, his brother Joseph Forlizzi of Whitman, his sister-in law Pamela Snow and her husband Peter of East Bridgewater; also his nieces and nephews, Melanie, Joseph, Payton, Patrick and Peri.

His funeral services will be held on Monday July 8th at 8:15AM from the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth St.(Rte 58 @ the rotary circle) Whitman, followed by a funeral mass at 9:00AM in the Holy Ghost Church, Whitman .Burial will be in the Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Whitman – Jay D. Condon 75, a lifelong resident of Whitman, died unexpectedly on Thursday July 11 in Brigham & Women’s Hospital. He was the beloved husband of 55 years to Meredith J. (Fullerton) Condon.

Born in Brockton and raised in Whitman he was the son of the late David J. and Mae (Roache) Condon and a graduate of Whitman High School, Class of 1955. He furthered his education graduating from Burdett College.

For many years Jay had worked as a salesman of business forms later establishing, along with his son Gary, his own local company “Affordable Closet Systems”.

Jay was a familiar face and active member of the Whitman community, serving on the Board of Appeals, the Finance Committee, and the Middle School Building Committee. He was also a member and past President of the Kiwanis Club of Whitman and a lifelong communicant of the Holy Ghost Church.

He enjoyed hunting and boating and was an avid fisherman.

He was loved by many and will never be forgotten.

In addition to his wife Meredith he is survived by his loving children Lisa Condon of South Boston, Gary J. Condon of Hanson and Susan F. Daily of Whitman. He is also survived by his grandchildren, whom he adored, Robert and Kayla Condon Ellis, Timothy, Shannon, Matthew and Amanda Daily, and David J. and Kirsten Condon. He was the father of the late Glen D. and Sean M. Condon and brother of the late Gary J. Condon.

His funeral service will be held Tuesday July 16 at 8:15 AM from the Blanchard Funeral Chapel (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman, followed by funeral mass at 9 AM in the Holy Ghost Church, Whitman. Burial will follow in the St. James Cemetery, Whitman. Visiting hours will be held Monday July 15 from 4-8 PM.

Joseph M. Gaides, 82 of Whitman passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Thursday July 11. He was the beloved husband of the late Dorothy (Johnson) Gaides.

Born in Quincy he was the son of the late Joseph and Sarah J. (Rantanen) Gaides.

Joe had been president and owner of Colonial Printers of Holbrook, as well as owner of the Braintree Star Newspaper of Braintree. He was also a member of the Braintree Rotary Club.

Joe truly enjoyed the time spent with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He loved playing his guitar and harmonica.

He is survived by his children Roger J. Gaides and his wife Ethel of Thornton, NH, Julie P. Young and her husband David of Whitman, Laurie M. MacAluso and her husband Anthony of Port Orange, FL and Holly S. Antonelli of Whitman, and his brother Charles Gaides and his wife Gloria of Quincy. He is also survived by his grandchildren Kent, Matthew, Karin, Heather, Steven, Janet, Kevin, Michelle, Russell, Kristin and Michael and his 15 great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.

His funeral service will be held Monday July 15 at 10 AM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 @ the rotary circle) Whitman. Burial will follow in the Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy. Visiting hours will be held Sunday July 14 from 1-3 PM.

Whitman – Edward “Ted” Newcomb, 77, died Thursday, July 18, 2013, peacefully surrounded by his family. He was a man loved and respected by many. He was the son of the late Augustus “Gus” Newcomb and the late Ruth Newcomb. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Marilynn (Dooley) of Whitman, children, Michael Newcomb and wife Diane of Whitman, Lawrence Newcomb and wife Michelle of East Bridgewater, Emily (Newcomb) Sullivan and husband Kevin of East Bridgewater, and Steven Newcomb and wife Kellie of Marshfield. He had one grandson, seven granddaughters and many nieces and nephews. He was also the loving brother of Robert Newcomb and wife Nancy of Yarmouth, Charlene (Newcomb) Ketterer and husband Jack of Plymouth, Marcia (Newcomb) LaRette and husband Richard of Iowa, the late Emily (Newcomb) Nagle, the late Wayne Newcomb, and Charles “Bud” Newcomb and wife Virginia of Marshfield.
Ted was a graduate of Scituate High School. He served in the Air Force and attended Morehead State University where he received his master’s degree in education. He coached on the college level for Morehead State University for track and field. Ted was the head of the department of physical education and served as Athletic Director at Whitman-Hanson Regional School District for 30 years and coached just about every sport including, gymnastics, soccer, football, basketball, track and field and cross country.
Ted’s greatest love was his family. He was happiest being with his wife, children and grandchildren. His other loves were gardening, coaching, viewing nature, food, pastries and watching sports. Ted was a man with a tough exterior, but underneath laid a heart of gold. He was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone who was in need and he was a mentor who inspired thousands.
His funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at 8:15 AM from the Blanchard Funeral Chapel Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman, followed by a funeral mass at 9:00 a.m. in the Holy Ghost Catholic Church, School Street, Whitman, MA. Burial will follow in the St. James Cemetery, Whitman. Visitation will be held Monday, July 22, 2013, from 4-8 p.m.

Frank J. Consolo, 80, of Whitman, died Sunday July 21st in the Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital, surround by his family, after a brief illness. He was the beloved husband of 59 years to Virginia (Nichols) Consolo.

He was born in Boston, grew up in the west end of Boston, son of the Pasquale and Maria (Ianella) Consolo.

Frank has been a Whitman resident since 1964.He worked for the Massachusetts Turnpike Authority as a toll collector for twenty years and for many years, he was a self-employed general contractor.

Frank loved to fix things and enjoyed being with his being family.

In addition to his wife Virginia, he is survived by his son, William Console and his wife Laurie of Hanson, his 2 daughters, Susan Grace and her husband Ed, of Hanover and Andrea Fall and her husband Greg of Hanson, his grandchildren, Justin, Evan, Leah Grace, Nicholas Grace and his wife Melissa, Caleb and Wevone Falls, Captain Jered Console and his wife 1st LT Moran Console, Travis Consolo and his great granddaughter Giada Grace; also many nieces and nephews. Frank was the youngest and last survivor of all seven siblings’, John, Mello, Guy Consolo, Mary Demargio, Nina Allessi, Josie Terravecchia and Natalie Grasso.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Thursday July 25th at 10:00AM, in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth St (Rte. 58 @ the rotary circle) Whitman. Dorothea F.”Meme” (McGrail) Racicot, 85, of Whitman, passed away on Thursday July 25th in the Good Samaritan Medical Center after a brief illness. She was the beloved wife to Arthur A. Racicot for over 60 years.

She was born and brought up in Whitman, daughter of the late Daniel M. and Agnes (Cronin) McGrail and a graduate of Whitman High class of 1945.

Dot has been a lifelong resident of Whitman. She worked for 40 years at the Toll House Restaurant as a waitress and making toll house cookies with Ruth Wakefield and Frank Saccone.

In addition to her husband Arthur, she is survived by four sons, Michael of Florida, Dennis and his wife Christina of Marshfield, Timothy and his wife Susan, and Richard all of Whitman, her grandchildren Erin L. Stracuzzi and her husband Scott of Quincy, Meagan M. Racicot of Whitman, Ryan F. Racicot and his wife Brooke of Plymouth, Andrew H. Racicot and his wife Heather of Missouri, Nicole Savage and her husband Dan of Whitman, Jennifer L. Racicot of Rockland, Kevin M. Racicot of Bridgewater and Christopher J. Gavrielidis of Marshfield, also five great grandchildren Jayden, Jaxon, Danny, Leo and Reese.

Jeanna L. Dunham, 27, of Whitman, passed away on Thursday August 1st after a brief illness. She was the beloved daughter of Robert and Mary (Guentner) Dunham and the proud and loving mother of Mark T., Jr. and Jacqueline Byron.

Jeanna has been a lifelong resident of Whitman. She was a graduate of Whitman-Hanson Regional High School, class of 2004, where she received the Pamela Constantino Award and was in the World of Difference Program. She also attended Massasoit College.

She worked in sales for Dunkin Donuts for many years, and was a member of the First Congregational Church in Rockland.

Jeanna enjoyed soccer, cheerleading, reading and loved being a proud Mom, to her two children. She also took dancing lessons at the Miss Kay Studio in Whitman, as she loved to dance.

In addition to her parents and children she is survived by her brother Robert E. Dunham, Jr. of Truro, her maternal grandmother Mary Ann Guentner of IL.,and the later Edward F. Guentner her paternal grandparents, Buzz and Caroline Dunham of Duxbury; many aunt’s and uncle’s and several cousins, grandparents of her children Mark and Diane (Quimby) Byron. The love of Jeanna‘s life was the late Mark T. Byron, Sr.

Her funeral Services will be held on Tuesday August 6th at 10:00AM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth St.(Rte 58 at the rotary circle) Whitman. Burial will follow in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Abington. Visitation will be on Monday August 5th from 4:00-8:00PM. Donald R. MacKenzie, age 84, died at his home in Whitman on August 1, 2013 after a period of failing health. He was the husband of Priscilla (Ducharme) MacKenzie for 53 years.
Born in Kearney, N. J., he was raised in Lowell, Mass., by his grandparents, William and Mary Ellen (Plunkett) MacKenzie. He attended local schools, including Newman Prep, and graduated from the University of Massachusetts — Lowell. A World War II veteran, he spent 10 years in the Army Reserves. He was employed by the Dept. of Veterans Affairs for over 35 years, accepting positions at several VA hospitals nationwide, including Brockton, Mass. and Manchester, N. H., from which he retired. A golf enthusiast, he was also a fan of Boston sports teams, especially the Bruins and Red Sox. He will be remembered for walking his greyhounds through Whitman.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his four children: Peter, and wife, Virginia, of Brentwood, N. H.; David, and wife Melanie, of Brockton; Gregory and Michelle, of Lowell; one grandson, Ian, of Brockton; two step-granddaughters, Ashley and Hannah Burke, of Brentwood, N. H.; his sister-in-law, Collette Fitzgerald, and husband Thomas Fitzgerald, of Lowell; two nephews, Timothy Fitzgerald and wife Karen Kedrowski, of Rock Hill, S. C., and Daniel and wife Lisa Fitzgerald, of Londonderry, N. H.; three great-nephews, Patrick and Sean Fitzgerald, of Londonderry, N. H., Jonathan Fitzgerald, of Rock Hill, S. C.; and one great-niece, Suzanne Fitzgerald, of Rock Hill, S. C.
The family will receive friends at Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth St, (Rte 58 @ the rotary circle) Whitman on Sunday, August 4, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with a mass of Christian burial at 9:00 am on Monday, August 5, at the Holy Ghost Catholic Church, at the corner of Washington and School Sts. in Whitman. Additional calling hours will be Tuesday, August 6, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, at Archambeault Funeral Home, 311 Pawtucket St., Lowell, Mass. A prayer service will be held on Wednesday, August 7, at 11:00 am, in the chapel at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Chelmsford, Mass.

Mary Ellen (Andrews) Thorndike, 74, of Rockland formerly of Whitman and Carver, passed away on Tuesday August 6th at home, surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of the late James O. Thorndike, Jr.

Mary was born in Boston, daughter of the late George Taylor and Lillian Elizabeth (Farrell) Andrews. She grew up in Hanover and was a graduate of Hanover high class of 1958. Mary was a resident of Whitman for many years and in 1998 she moved to Rockland.

She was a communicant of the Holy Ghost Church in Whitman, a former board member of her condo association in Rockland. She also worked for the family business, Thorndike Corporation in East Bridgewater for many years.

Mary enjoyed trips Maine and traveling about, also enjoyed being with her family and friends.

She is survived by her children, James O. Thorndike, III and his wife Jean of Whitman, Kelly Lee Thorndike of Rockland, 2 granddaughters, Julia Elizabeth Thorndike Root and Mikayla Sampson,her brothers Jack Andrews of NV, and George Taylor Andrews of Plymouth.

Her funeral services will be held on Friday August 9th at 10:15AM from the Blanchard Funeral chapel, Plymouth St. (Rte 58 @ the rotary Circle) Whitman, followed by her funeral mass at 11:00AM in the Holy Ghost Church, Whitman. Burial will follow in the St. James Cemetery, Whitman. Her visitation will be on Thursday from 4:00-8:00PM. Donations may be made in her name to the Charity of One’s Choice.

Whitman – Bruce A. Waugh 77, a longtime resident of Whitman, died Thursday August 29 after a brave battle against Parkinson Disease. He was the beloved husband of 53 years to Priscilla A. (Mattson) Waugh.

Born and raised in Hingham he was the son of the late Harold Waugh and the late Marion (Loud) (Waugh) Cameron, and a graduate of Hingham High School. He had furthered his education attending Bridgewater State College.

Bruce was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corp having served, along with his brother Bud Waugh, from 1956-1958.

Bruce along with his wife Priscilla moved to Whitman in 1968 and became familiar and active members of the Whitman Community. Bruce had served on the Board of Appeals for 18 years, several of those years he served as chairman. From 1983-2002 Bruce had worked as the Assessor/Appraiser for the town from which he retired. Prior to his years with the town he had worked for over 28 years at the Pneumatic Scale Corporation of Quincy.

He devoted countless hours to the activities of his children. He had been a Little League Baseball coach and a Cub Master of Cub Scout Troop #27. He had also been a dedicated supporter of the Defenders Drum & Bugle Corp. volunteering several times as a chaperone for their many travels, and serving as President of the Defenders’ Booster Club.

He enjoyed his many travels to Bermuda and to Fort Meyers for Red Sox spring training, but his greatest joy was following the many sporting events and activities of his grandchildren, all of which he had his own “special” name for.

In addition to his wife Priscilla, he is survived by his loving children, Christopher Waugh and his wife Cathy of East Wareham, David Waugh and his partner Ron Pettit of Florida and Melissa Gelinas and her husband Christopher of Waltham. He is also survived by his grandchildren, whom he adored, Michael Waugh and his wife Amanda, Brooke Waugh and Jenna and Oran Gelinas and his great granddaughter Madison Bae Waugh. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Elaine Waugh and was a beloved Uncle to many nieces and nephews along with their families. He was the brother of the late Robert and Harold Waugh and Thelma Ducharme.

His services will be held Wednesday September 4 at 10:15 AM from the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) followed by a funeral mass at 11 AM in Holy Ghost Church, Whitman. Burial will follow in the Fort Hill Cemetery, Hingham. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday September 3 from 4-8 PM.

Whitman – Sarah A. (Hunt) Hammond 38, a resident of Whitman for 12 years, died unexpectedly on Sunday September 1. She was the beloved wife of 9 years to Ronald V. Hammond, Jr.

Born and raised in Oregon she was the loving daughter of Robert W. and Pamela J. (Gillon) Hunt.

As a teenager, Sarah had moved to Raynham with her family and was a graduate of Bridgewater-Raynham High School. Prior to her marriage, she had worked locally as a Certified Nursing Assistant.

Sarah had enjoyed cooking and was a loving wife and mother. She had dedicated her life to her autistic son Parker, whom she adored.

In addition to her husband Ronald she is survived by her son Parker V. Hammond of Whitman and her parents Robert W. and Pamela J. (Gillon) Hunt of Raynham. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was the granddaughter of the late Thomas & Edith Gillon and the late Furman and Della Hunt.

Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours to be held Friday September 6 from 4-8 PM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth St. (Rte.58 @ the rotary) Whitman. All other services are omitted by request of the family.

Gladys (Carter) Estabrook, 85, of Whitman, passed away Saturday September 14th, surrounded by her family at home. She was the wife of the late Roy W. Estabrook and longtime companion of Edward C. Sherman of Whitman.

She was born in Worchester, daughter of the late Thomas E. and Ethel M. (Lloyd) Carter. She was a graduate of Weymouth High School.

Gladys has been a Whitman resident for 54 years. She was an active member of the First Congregational Church of Whitman for over 50 years, also an active volunteer at the Heifer Project.

She worked at Electro-Switch in Weymouth as a comptroller for many years before becoming a teacher’s aid and a crossing guard for Whitman Schools for 22 years. Gladys loved to ballroom dance.

She is survived by her children, L. Kathleen Reed and her husband Roger of Whitman, David Estabrook and his wife Christine of Middleboro and Nanci Coleman and her husband Daniel of CT, her sister, Ruth M. Carter of NV, her grandchildren, Faith, Marina, James, Aidan, Gavin and Carter and her great grandchild Joia; also many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Lloyd, James and Paul Carter.

Her services will be held on Thursday Sept.19th at 10:00AM in the First Congregational Church in Whitman. Burial will be in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne at 2:45PM.Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4:00-7:00PM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth St (Rte58@ the rotary circle) Whitman. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to the Heifer International Project, 1 World Ave., Little Rock, AR 72202.

Barbara A. (Hynes) Juliano, 82, of Whitman, died unexpectedly on Monday September 16th in the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Angelo Juliano.

She was born and brought up in Whitman, daughter of the late James and Angie (Hamm) Hynes.

Barbara has been a lifelong resident of Whitman and attended Whitman Schools. She worked as a bookkeeper for Regal and Bostonian Shoe in Whitman and prior to her retirement she worked at Eletrosignal Labs in Rockland.

She enjoyed being with her family and adored her grandchildren.

Barbara is survived by her son Michael R.Packard and his wife Melinda of Brockton, her daughter Deborah (Packard) Jefferson of Abington, her sisters, Catherine Kieran of Avon, Margaret Ford of Hanson and Marion Deftos of West Bridgewater her beloved grandchildren, Karin Paris of Halifax, Carrie Lyn Rzasa and her husband Jonathan of Plymouth, Joseph Jefferson of Hanson Daniel Jefferson and his wife Melissa of Hull; also 8 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late John and Leo McAvoy, James Hynes, Dorothy Milewski and Mary Pickett.

Her funeral services will be held on Saturday September 21st at 9:15AM from the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, followed by a funeral mass at 10:00AM in the Holy Ghost Church, Whitman. Burial will follow in the St. James Cemetery, Whitman. Visitation will be held on Friday September 20th from 4:00-7:00PM.

William D. Jenness, 81, of Whitman, passed away on Tuesday Sept 17th in the Southeast Rehab & Skilled Care Center in North Easton. He was the beloved husband of the late Elaine C. (Spence) Jenness for 31 years.

He was born in Rockland, son of the late Martin and Gladys (Anderson) Jenness.

Bill was a graduate of Whitman High School, class of 1949.He served his country as a staff sergeant in the United States Air Force, from 1951-1955.

He has been a resident of Whitman for many years. Bill worked for AT&T for 35 years as a troubleshooter, before retiring.

Bill enjoyed gardening, playing cards with family, flying small airplanes and tracing his family’s geneology all the way back to England.

He was the beloved step father to Robert and Diane Duprez of Brockton, Richard and Suzie Duprez of American Canyon, CA., and the late Randy Duprez, beloved grandfather to 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, beloved brother of Edward Jenness of Whitman and the late Eleanor (Jenness) Hilly: also so survived by his daughters Carol Jenness and Paula (Jenness) Hommel both of Hanson, as well as his caregiver Cindy Picanzo.

His funeral services will be held on Monday September 23rd at 12:00PM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth St. (Rte 58@ the rotary circle) Whitman. Interment will follow in the Colebrook Cemetery, Whitman. Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to his service from 10:00AM-12:00PM.

Whitman – Perley G. Pratt 85, died Thursday September 19 after a period of failing health. He was the beloved husband of 63 years to Joan L. (Davis) Pratt.

Born in Connecticut he was the son of the late Cecil Pratt and Louise (Beal) (Pratt) Deacon, and step-son of the late Arthur Deacon.

He was a lifelong resident of Whitman where he grew up with the family of Melbourne “Pop” and Caroline “Mom” Beal. He was a graduate of Whitman High School, Class of 1946 and had attended Northeastern University and Boston University. Before his retirement he had worked for over 42 years as a Sales Manager for the Brockton Edison Company.

He was a proud veteran of World War II having served in the US Army, Japan Occupation Forces.

As an active member of the Whitman community, Perley had served as Chairman of the Republican Town Community, past President of the Whitman Kiwanis, and a member of the Whitman VFW Post # 697. He was also a member of the Puritan Masonic Lodge and a lifelong and active member of the First Congregational Church where he had served as Deacon.

He enjoyed fishing and hunting, and each year he spent many hours tending his vegetable garden and happily shared it’s bounty with family and friends. However, his greatest pleasure came from the time spent surrounded by his loving family, and their family vacations.

In addition to his wife Joan he is survived by his loving daughters Cynthia Kenealy and her husband William of Whitman, Pamela Bunce and her husband Joseph of East Dennis and Valerie Hammond and her husband Mark of Ashway, RI. He is also survived by his 8 grandchildren Matthew and Andrew Kenealy, Jennifer Hogencamp, Allyson Baroni, Meredith Caldwell, and Christopher, Joshua and Jared Hammond as well as his 6 great grandchildren Dylan, Keira, Grayson, Cole, Will and Annabelle.

His funeral service will be held Tuesday September 24 at 11 AM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth St. (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman. Burial will be held at a later date in Colebrook Cemetery, Whitman. Visiting hours will be held Monday September 23 from 4-7 PM.

In lieu of flowers donations in his name may be made to the Shriners Hospital, 51 Blossom Street, Boston, MA 02114 or to the First Congregational Church of Whitman, 519 Washington Street, Whitman, MA 02382 or to the charity of one’s choice.
